Our Traditional Wedding package is designed for those looking to uphold classic traditions as well as those looking to create their own unique memories. This package includes use of the venue for rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Also included in your rental are tables, chairs, plenty of parking in a designated parking lot, setup/breakdown of venue furniture, and other complimentary features! Our package is a flat rate, regardless of date or season. There are no discounts for partial use. Best of all, your entire rental fee goes towards supporting the programs of our nonprofit organization, the Western Justice Center. By booking The Maxwell House, you are assisting valuable programs that empower people to strengthen their communities by growing the conflict resolution skills and capacity of youth, educators, schools, and community partners.

Saturday rental only (no weekday weddings) with prep time the Friday before your event.

Weddings may use the rental time for ceremonies, receptions, or both. No changes in pricing can be made. Our flat rate applies for any weekend rental regardless of usage, season, or date. Some holiday weekends may have increased rates.

Private use of The Maxwell House from 11am-11pm (12hrs) on the day of the wedding/event. This time includes setup and breakdown. All events must end by 10pm and be cleared by 11pm. This time can not be altered.

Private use includes the living room, dining room, library, foyer, mezzanine, kitchen, limited use of garden patio, and wedding suite.

Prep/rehearsal time in the space from 1pm-5pm (4hrs) the Friday before the event. You may use this time to decorate, schedule deliveries, rehearse, etc.

Setup & breakdown of furniture owned by The Maxwell House, according to your floor plan needs.

Rental pickups may take place Monday morning following your event (a budget-friendly option!)

Dance floor - Required for all events where dancing will take place. (Our dance floor is located at the back of the Foyer and cannot be moved. )

Not Included...

REQUIRED: Event insurance - Coverage proof from WedSafe or any accredited insurance agency that can meet the requirements of 1-million in general liability + alcohol. We do not receive any money for this, just proof of coverage. Clients report this cost to be between $150-$200 for a 1-day plan.

REQUIRED: Event Coordinator/Planner - A minimum of a professional Day-of Coordinator is required for all events with more than 30 people. Please note, this person cannot be one of your party guests, but rather a paid professional and must stay until the venue is cleared by our facilities staff.

REQUIRED: Professional Bartending Services from Maxwell House preferred partners if alcohol will be provided for guests. Please see our list of Partnered Bartending Service Providers.

REQUIRED: Security Personnel. We require one security personnel for 8 hours of service on your event day. This person will greet guests, ensure they parked in the proper area, oversee the neighborhood as well as oversee the sound decibels. We will add an additional fee of $400 to your contract and provide the service on your behalf.
