Our Boutique Wedding package is perfectly designed for the couple who wants to share their wedding with just their closest family and friends. The Boutique Wedding package includes use of the venue for an intimate ceremony and reception. Also included in your rental are tables, chairs, designated parking lot, rental furniture setup, and many other complimentary features! Boutique Weddings are typically held on Sundays. Boutique Weddings have a maximum capacity of 40 guests on the property, plus the couple and vendors (caterers, florists, coordinators, etc.). Guest count cannot be increased, as we only hold smaller events on these days, however, additional time may be requested for an additional fee.

Our package is a flat rate, regardless of date or season. There are no discounts for partial use. Best of all, there's no tax on your rental, since your entire rental fee goes towards supporting the programs of our nonprofit organization, the Western Justice Center! By booking The Maxwell House, you are assisting valuable programs that empower people to strengthen their communities by growing the conflict resolution skills and capacity of youth, educators, schools, and community partners.

Sunday rental only. Weddings may use the rental time for ceremonies, receptions, or both. No changes in pricing can be made. Our flat rate applies for any rental regardless of usage, season, or date.

Private use of The Maxwell House for 6 hrs between the hours of 9am-10pm on the day of the wedding/event. This time can not be altered. (Private use includes the living room, dining room, library, foyer, mezzanine, kitchen, garden patios, and wedding suite.

Dance floor - Required for all events where dancing will take place. (Our dance floor is located at the back of the Foyer and cannot be moved.)

Not Included...

REQUIRED: Event insurance - Coverage proof from WedSafe or any accredited insurance agency that can meet the requirements of 1-million in general liability + alcohol. We do not receive any money for this, just proof of coverage. Clients report this cost to be between $100-$175 for a 1-day plan.

REQUIRED: Event Coordinator/Planner - A minimum of a professional Day-of Coordinator is required for all events with more than 30 people. Please note, this person cannot be one of your party guests, but rather a paid professional and must stay until the facilities manager clears the space.

REQUIRED: Professional Bartending Services from a Maxwell House partnered vendor if alcohol will be provided for guests. Please see our list of Partnered Bartending Service Providers.

REQUIRED: Security Personnel. We require one security personnel for 4 hours of service on your event day. This person will greet guests, ensure they parked in the proper area, oversee the neighborhood as well as oversee the sound decibels. We will add an additional fee of $200 to your contract and provide the service on your behalf.
